- Look to Speak
Calendar Notification
Calendar Notification is a simple, but decent little productivity app. It puts your calendar or agenda right in your notifications similar to how weather apps put weather forecasts there. You have a few display options. You can have it show an entire month, just the day’s agenda, or there are a few other options. It also includes some light customization features to tune it how you want. We don’t see a whole ton of people wanting something like this, but if you’re gonna have a persistent notification, it might as well be useful.
Duolingo ABC
Duolingo is one of the most successful language learning apps on Android. We expect Duolingo ABC to be the same as an educational app for kids. The goal is to teach children how to read. It includes over 700 reading lessons. Most of them are interactive to keep kids engaged. The app is also ad-free, completely free to use, and it works offline. I already know how to read so I can’t say how effective it is. However, the exercises are fun little games and it seems like it could work well for younger kids.
Glimesh
Glimesh is a live streaming website similar in premise to Twitch. Content creators can go live on the platform and stream to their followers. Glimesh has some decent features and a bit of potential. You can stream games, art, education, or just hang out and talk to your followers if you want to. It’s not quite as feature-rich as Twitch, but the developers are adding more and more things to the service as time goes on. It existed as a website before the mobile app so it’s not entirely brand new. That’s likely why it seems more complete than a lot of other newer live streaming services.
